“Meneng Ning Ra Meneng” (1920x1080) A live coding audiovisual work. Performed on the first time by Rangga Purnama Aji as a representation of Klitih Bunyi in Festival Teater Remaja Nusantara 2019 at Indonesian Institute of The Arts Yogyakarta and also been exhibited in SPECTROOM EXHIBITRONIC an event organized by 360 VERTICAL in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The title roughly translated from Javanese language means “silence but not silence”. It suggest one of many concept of what every human being do in their daily basis, an inner activity that couldn’t be noticed externally. In this work, i tried to make a contemplative and meditative effect using the music and visual. I use two live coding environment for the audio and the visual. The environment for the audio is called TidalCycles and the other one is called Hydra for the visual. I combine both environment at the same time as one interface using Atom editor.
